Daytona Beach Attorney - Wendy A. Mara

Daytona Beach Attorney Wendy Mara graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University in 1993 with a degree in English. While there, Ms. Mara was selected to be a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation, Ms. Mara taught language arts in high school for 13 years. While teaching full time, Ms. Mara earned her MBA from the University of Central Florida in 2006. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Mara attended Florida Coastal School of Law (“FCSL”) and graduated in 2009. While at FCSL, Ms. Mara was a teacher’s assistant, research assistant, and award winning oralist for Jessup International Moot Court Competition. In addition, Ms. Mara was awarded various recognitions such as Dean’s List, Certificate for Pro Bono Work, Certificate for Oral Advocacy, and Certificate for Advanced Legal Writing and Research.

Ms. Mara is involved in many organizations. She is currently the Vice-President of the Tomoka Oaks Homeowner’s Association, Graduate of Ormond Leadership VII, Treasurer of the Volusia Flagler Association of Women’s Lawyers (“VFAWL”), VFAWL representative for the Domestic Violence Advisory Committee, and one of the Directors of the Volusia County Bar Association.

Ms. Mara has five children and resides in Ormond Beach with her husband and fellow Daytona Beach Attorney, Robert, youngest daughter, Felicia, son, Robbie and two cats - Ruka and Mercury. Ms. Mara enjoys decorating, gardening, walking, practicing yoga, and watching movies.
